Clean, easy very good value. Would stay again
Make sure yiou dont get one of the 2/3 rooms near the road due to road noise when window open. No a/c.
Great breakfast but please train new kitchen staff outside of breakfast times.
Good value for money. The hotel was in the midst of a reservation but the staff were coping well and were friendly and helpful. We ate there and the food was very good and the breakfast was excellent in the circumstances.
The hotel was very near the motorway, however, we slept OK, even though our room overlooked the motorway.
Lovely staff, excellent food, nice room and a good shower. Fast, free wi-fi in the rooms. Good value for money. As a stop-over when travelling to Scotland it is ideal.
The hotel is literally right on the M77 so, if you want to sleep with the window open, it is noisy. The refurbishment works are pretty major, not really a problem but perhaps these could be mentioned in the hotel description so that people could be aware when booking to make an informed choice.
We would definately reccomend this hotel and will be stopping over again in the very near future. The staff were some of the most helpfull and well mannered i have encountered and the rooms were spacious, clean and warm (the double bed were the largest i've encountered in a hotel !).Eating in the atatched restraunt is a must as the cuisine is excellent and very reasonably priced for the standard of food served.Breakfast in the morning was again very good ,with a broad selection on offer ranging from cereals and fruit juices to a hearty traditional cooked breakfast for the more brave. All in all excellent and well worth staying.
stayed in lots of hotels best staff i have ever had not best decor but staff more than made up for this good food and lovley service in reasturant to
The evening meal was excellent, well served and an enjoyable exsperience throughout
Afterthe evening meal, the breakfast was disappointing, not well seved or prepared
Room dark due to a couple of bulbs needed replacing and the algae in the bathroom needs removing
The staff were very pleasant and helpful and made you feelwelcome
Too near moterway as regards noise
We enjojoyed our stay the food was excellent and the breakfast was cooked for you, not like some hotel that have self service well done
the staff being so helpful rooms was excellent and clean the situiation of the hotel
We attended a wedding reception at the hotel and so it was the best place to stay, we found the staff to be very welcoming and the food good.
The room was very warm and we had the window open, this became a problem due to the noise from the nearby moterway, a fan or air-con would have been very helpful
All staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Meals were excellent and good value for money, with generous portions.
There was a motorway nearby that created a noise for most of the day, particularly at rush hour.
It is very convenient for both Glasgow airport and the Ayrshire countryside, (e.g. Dean Castle, Dundonald Castle, the Troon seashore, etc), the restaurant is unexpectedly good, and the whole staff is very friendly.
At present, it is a little tired, but we understand that there is a major refurbishing program in 2010.
Good size bedroom recently refurbished - updated to a modern standard. Restaurant particularly good - excellent food and exceptional customer service
